Oribus

One of the first special purpose buses built in the Bolechowo factory was Oribus, a mobile beauty parlor. It was produced for the famous Oriflame cosmetic company. This exceptional "beauty salon" was based on the Neoplan Transliner tourist coach.

What makes Oribus so exceptional is its equipment, which makes it possible to carry out an independent presentation of cosmetics at any place the bus stops. Instead of passenger seats Oribus has an externally expandable stage with a roof, exhibition shelves, an information desk, a beauty parlor and a small conference room.

The interior was designed in the way that allows a presentation inside the vehicle as well. This is why decorated shelves and rooms for exhibiting cosmetics have been designed. Additionally, sleeping cabs for 4 people, a restroom, a shower, a kitchen and a wardrobe are located on the board and below. Oribus has reached thousands of small towns in Poland throughout its 10 years of operation. Owing to the bus the Oriflame company has not only promoted cosmetics, but also the principles of beauty care.

The experience gained from this project may prove to be invaluable in the case of further orders - for instance orders for conference buses, mobile libraries or shops. A "nightliner" would be a challenge - a mobile home for musicians or other celebrities.
